For the past 30 years, Dutch Valley Homes, Inc. has constructed high-quality, structurally superior custom homes across Northern Ohio. We are a true family-owned and operated company with a passion for custom home construction that runs deep. That passion started over 30 years ago with DVH President Gary VanDenHaute and continues today with his sons Brian and Scott. Whether it be on a job site or at a family cookout, we will undoubtedly be discussing current and future projects, new custom home innovations and/or some type of industry talk.
We truly love what we do and we believe that passion is evident in every facet of our work. Our family relationships that are based upon honesty, transparency and consistency have carried over to our relationships with our homeowners, trades and suppliers. Even though each project is unique, relying on the same group of men and women to design, supply and install enables us to maintain a consistency in quality of both materials and installation on a project-by-project basis. Dedication
When you build with DVH, the employees you work with during the initial sales process will be the same employees that team up with you throughout the construction process. This is not usually the case with most custom home builders, where you may not even meet one of potentially several “project managers” for the first time until the actual construction process is underway. Working together from start to finish as we do allows the same people who aided you in the development of your vision to be the same people putting that intimate knowledge of your project into practice each day onsite. And when we say “each day,” we really mean it.
We take pride in being onsite at each project, each and every day, rain or shine. We do not rely upon our trades to report back every now and then on progress of your job. We utilize the most up-to-date construction management software to manage project schedules, store homeowner selections, record job logs, progress photos, etc. Communication with our homeowners, trades and suppliers and daily onsite presence are key components to keep your project running on time and on budget. And as a homeowner, you should expect nothing less.
